Remote Runner Info

Can’t make it out for race day, but still want to participate? No problem, sign up as a remote runner!

How does the remote run work?

1) Sign up for the Remote Run during registration.

2) Complete your run on your own wherever your local is between Friday, May 30th and Sunday, June 8th!

3) You will be mailed the following the week after the race:

  • official racing bib
  • official event race shirt
  • official finisher’s medal

No official timing or results are necessary for virtual runners, but we’ll send you email instructions during race week to  upload your result to our Race Roster leader board. 

We encourage you to time your run, take a photo after you finish, and post your unofficial time with your photo to your social networks of choice with #sanjosehalf!
